Other atmospheric phenomena
25.05.2014
Olivia Dunbar, Lucretius
On the occasion of the 2014 kunstvlaai, in the Amstelpark, rongwrong presents some messages from Olivia Dunbar and Lucretius, as well as a game of croquet adjacent to the Roman Garden among some flattering company.

'Other atmospheric phenomena' refers to small phenomena, which might occur before earthquakes or volcanic eruptions and after the appearance of the rainbow. Referred to since antiquity, they are mostly pretty in form. Sometimes they appear as colourful clouds and momentarily take the semblance of a whirling frost. While being brief they can induce an impertinent bubbly resonance. But how can we actually observe them? Like a needle in the hay they sometimes get caught in the eye. Taocheng once astutely annotated that we might be able to sometimes observe them because they respond well to the bourgeois granny attitude of flowers and cakes. For Ulrich, on the other hand, they were seen during a racehorse of genius, which also contributed to his awareness of not having any left qualities and taking a year's leave from life. It is with pleasure that we invite you to the Amstel Park and look for them. Next to the Roman garden and the olive tree we will have an agreeable game of croquet and wear white handkerchiefs.
~+~+~> OH AND DON'T FORGET : ON SUNDAY, at 3.30pm, come with us for a botanical stroll among flowers and their names with a special guest and flora connoisseur : Jelmer Rypkema, gardener and landscaper will unravel mysteries of life on the green side. <~+~+~ meet us at the Roman Garden.
